Interpretive Services (Nature Centers, Historical Sites, and Community Centers) educate over 66,000 children each year. Other opportunities include sporting programs at various sites supporting recreation. The Foundation provides financial support when available to assist with expanded programming due to increased community need.

Health and Recreation
Promoting active recreation as a means of combatting the obesity epidemic in Riverside County. We host events where information on healthy living is disseminated, as well as raise funds for youth sports such as boxing.

Environmental Education
Providing funding for local schools to visit RivCoPark’s nature centers and historical sites, as well as scholarships for underprivileged youth of Riverside County to participate in day camps and environmental education based workshops.

Public Lands Stewardship
Protecting and caring for our shared public lands, including parks, nature centers, historic places, trails, and open spaces. We raise funds and recruit volunteers for projects identified as critical needs by the RivCoParks District. These projects may include but are not limited to playground cleanups, trail maintenance, and historic preservation. In addition, we educate and inspire the community on the importance of stewardship.
